#WalangPasok: Classes and Work Suspensions on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Several Local Government Units (LGUs) announces class and works suspensions as preventive measures to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). On Monday night, President Duterte and other mayors release a statement that there were Twenty-four (24) cases of Coronavirus (COVID- 19) in the Philippines.

Here are the updated lists of classes and work suspensions on Tuesday, March 10, 2020:

Metro Manila

  • Classes in all levels from Tuesday, March 10, to Saturday, March 14. Earlier announcements:
    • Caloocan City – all levels (public and private) on Tuesday, March 10, and Wednesday, March 11
    • The city of Manila – all levels (public and private) from Monday afternoon, March 9, until Sunday, March 15
    • Marikina City – all levels (public and private) from Monday, March 9, until Wednesday, March 11
    • Navotas City – all levels (public and private) on Monday, March 9
    • Pasay City – all levels (public and private) on Monday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10
    • Quezon City – Bagong Lipunan Crame Elementary School and High School only on Monday, March 9
    • San Juan City – all levels (public and private) on Monday, March 9

Cavite

Rizal

  • Cainta – all levels (public and private) from Saturday, March 7, until Tuesday, March 10
  • Rodriguez – all levels (public and private) on Tuesday, March 10
  • San Mateo – all levels (public and private) from Tuesday, March 10, until Friday, March 13
  • Taytay – all levels (public and private) on Monday, March 9

Ilocos Region

  • Pangasinan
    • Lingayen – all levels (public and private) on Monday, March 9

As of March 10, 2020, more than 114,223 people have been infected and over  4,005 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, which has reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 62,834 recovered from the epidemic disease.
