JUST IN: President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go Undergo some Test for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

Breaking News! The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go will be undergoing some tests for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) after some Cabinet members releases statement that they will undergo self-quarantine due to contact with infected individuals.

Senator Bong Go send a message to the source that he and President Duterte will be tested for the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

“Pa-test kami ni PRRD (President Duterte) tomorrow (We will submit ourselves for test tomorrow),” said Senator Bong Go.

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go explained why they will undergo COVID-19 testing. He said, that they want to be sure they’re “fit and healthy” and can do their duties as one of the Public Leader.

“Considering that some Cabinet members we engage with regularly have been exposed to individuals who were tested positive of COVID-19 and have decided to undergo self-quarantine, it is just prudent for us to take precautionary measures in compliance with the advice of our health officials,” Go said.

Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez and Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade announce through social media that they will undergo self-quarantine after interacting with coronavirus-positive individuals.

Malacañang will be temporarily closed on Thursday for disinfection. As of Mach 12, 2020, the department of health confirms 49 cases of COVID-19. Novel Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) causes fever and cough for most people but can cause serious illness such as pneumonia.

The latest update of Coronavirus Worldwide, more than 125,623 people have been infected and over 4,607 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 67,051 recovered from the epidemic disease.
