The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded that Magnitude 5.0 Earthquake hits San Antonio (Zambales). The time of impact is 06:00:48 AM AM on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2020.

PHIVOLCS also recorded the location of the quake, 14.68°N, 118.96°E – 125 km S 76° W of San Antonio (Zambales) and the Depth of Focus (Km) is 038. There are no casualties that have been damage.

This is the usual scenario in the Philippines because we are under the Pacific Ring Of Fire where active and dormant volcanoes reside. The red dot represents the epicenter of the earthquake.

Phivolcs warned for possible aftershocks and other incidents that could harm people’s lives.

Tsunami is also the greatest threat after the quake as the wave moves backward from the seashore and produces a gigantic wave that has a strong power to crush its path.
