The Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in San Juan City on March 11, 2020. The total of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the city is eight.
A resident in Barangay Greenhills, the 57-year-old man went to a private hospital to get tested and consult doctors due to cough and colds. After the consultation, he was placed home quarantine while waiting for the result of the throat swab.
The patient was currently in stable conditions and transferred to a tertiary hospital in Metro Manila last night.
The Mayor of San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora was always reminding the residents to always wash their hands with soap and water or always use alcohol ina 70% solution. Also, avoid touching your eyes nose and mouth and disinfect their surrounding.
An effective but efficient disinfectant is a Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach and water) in a 1 is to 9 ratios. Mix 1 part of Bleach (Clorox or Zonrox) with 9 parts of water.
