St. Lukes Medical Center issued a public announcement confirming their first corona virus “COVID19” patient.
In the announcement the hospital was able to identify the virus through tough screening and the patient now is isolated from the other patients, he or she is now located outside the emergency wing.
After the said incident the DOH took action immediately and facilitated the transmission of the patient to the RITM or Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.
Luckily the hospital made a quick response to the matter and identified right away the people who were in contact with the patient and minimum exposure is ensured. St. Luke also quoted that nothing to worry because the infected person had not entered the main atrium of the hospital especially in the main emergency area.
St. Luke medical center ensures that the hospital is 100 percent capable to handle corona virus infection cases to their state of the art advance facilities to easily cure the infected personality to enter their medical center.
The medical staff and doctors there maintain a safety protocol to avoid any contamination to ensure the safety of their patients and people around the hospital especially the patient’s visitor.
