LEYTE, a magnitude 5.7 quake hits leyte earlier this morning March 2, 2020, the said quake can produce aftershocks its epicenter is located at Leyte Capoocan town with a 85 kilometers span, according to Phivolcs this quake is strong enough to move building and other infrastructures.

With a depth of 13 kilometers the earthquake is felt on Leyte neighboring provinces like Tacloban and Pastrana.

Phivolcs warned for possible aftershocks and other incidents that could harm people lives.

Tsunami is also a greatest treat after quake as the wave moves backward from the seashore and produces a gigantic wave that has a strong power to crush its path.

This is usual scenario in the Philippines because we are under the Pacific Ring Of Fire where active and dormant volcanoes resides.
