Bb. Pilipinas 2020 Candidate number 8, Meiji Cruz is from Valenzuela, Philippines and finished a degree at the University of Lyceum in the Philippines. The 26-year-old has a degree of AB Mass Communication minor in Broadcast Journalism, BS Psychology, AB Guidance, and Counselling.

Meiji likes to travel and exploring new places. She loves reading, singing, and also into fashion because she fascinated by it. Meiji is not new to pageantry because she competed in Binibining Pilipinas in the year 2012 but doesn’t win. She is now compatible, learn experience and trying her best to have a spot in the international pageant.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2019 Patricia Magtanong will crown her successor at the end of the event. Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2019 Resham Saeed, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Maria Andrea Abesamis (assumed the position of Samantha Ashley Lo), Binibining Intercontinental 2019 Emma Tiglao, and Miss Globe 2019 2nd Runner-up Leren Bautista will crown their respective successors. Miss Universe Philippines has branched out from the competition this year into a separate pageant.

The 57th coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas will be held in Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. The Grand Coronation Night is scheduled to be held on April 26, 2020.
