Twitter hashtag #NoToABSCBNShutdown is now viral on social networking sites. The #NoToABSCBNShutdown has more than 27, 000 tweets on supporting the franchise renewal Kapamilya Network, ABS-CBN.

Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte announces to public that he will not renew the contract of ABS-CBN once it expires in March 2020. According to President Duterte, “If you are expecting na ma-renew ‘yan (franchise), I am sorry. I will see to it that you are out.”

Some Netizens said, ABC-CBN is not just a tv station, it is a culture, it is a tradition. Even if we Filipinos can now watch tons of channels, we always look for that distinct ABS-CBN flavor. Due process instead should be served if they violated #NoToABSCBNShutdown.
