Brillante “Dante” Mendoza, a respected film director made an explosive revelation on his relationship he had with “Ang Probinsyano” actor Coco Martin.

During his guesting with “Cristy Ferminute” the award-winning film director promoted his Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 (MMFF) entry “Mindanao” featuring Judy Ann Santos who has already won Best Actress award in Cairo Film Festival.

As to recall, Direk Brillante Mendoza is the one responsible of making Coco Martin successful in his acting career in Kapamilya Network. Since the very start when they work together in a project “Masahista thinking on Coco Martin was just a “bold actor.”

“Ginawa niya ‘yun dahil sa maraming disappointments niya sa buhay. Bold actor lang daw siya, maraming issues, kaya nagtrabaho siya sa Canada,” he explained.

The reason that in every moment one mention his name, it cannot be avoided to link Direk Brillante to Coco Martin.

Before he made and exit from guesting, Cristy Fermin got the chance to ask about his relationship with Coco Martin in connection to the public demand to know the real score of the two.

She then asked Direk Brillante saying, “Nagkaroon po ba kayo ng relasyon ni Coco Martin?” asked Cristy Fermin.

Direk Brillante answered on the spot to the question saying, “We’re more than friends. We’re more than brothers. It’s beyond that. Hanggang ngayon, nagkakausap kami, walang nagbago sa aming pagkakaibigan.” explained the director.

Direk added that he is happy now with Coco Martin’s success as he remembered they both dream together before.
