Riza Katrina Evans, wife of the actor Matt Evans arrested of estafa by virtue of warrant of arrest filed in Makati Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 66-A on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.

According to Police Maj. Gideon Ines of Makati City police, the arrest of Riza Katrina Evans is linked to her business.

On the other hand, her husband Matt Evans also hinted that the arrest of his wife is linked to her business of selling designer bag and jewelries that lost her about 6 million pesos 3-years ago. The statement of Matt Evans seems to match the police officer statement reason of arrest.

The court recommends P30,000.00 bill for the temporary settlement for the said case. Upon writing, Katrina is yet to explain her side to clear up the issue.

The 32-year-old has also another case of cyberbullying filed against her in Cebu City but according to report she already settled it by paying the bill.
