Several Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines have suspended classes on Saturday, September 14, 2019 due to 5.3 magnitude earthquake hits Burdeos town in Quezon province on Friday afternoon around 04:28:16 PM, September 13, 2019.

-Polytechnic University of the Philippines — all National Capital Region, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, Camarines Sur branches and campuses

According to PUP, “To assess the damage brought by the recent earthquake and to ensure the safety of the community, classes and work in ALL PUP NCR BRANCHES and CAMPUSES are cancelled tomorrow (Sept. 14, 2019/Saturday). Please be guided accordingly.”

-Arellano University-all levels; classes suspended also on Sunday, Sept. 15, and Monday, Sept. 16

UPDATED:

  • De La Salle University, Manila — classes and work to resume at 1:00 p.m.
  • Polytechnic University of the Philippines — all NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, Camarines Sur branches and campuses
  • Arellano University – all levels; classes suspended also on Sunday, Sept. 15, and Monday, Sept. 16
  • Colegio de San Juan de Letran
  • FEATI
  • PWU Taft Avenue and PWU Jasms Indiana Campuses
  • UST
  • UE Caloocan and Manila
  • TIP Quezon City and Manila
  • FEU Manila
  • San Beda University
  • UP Diliman
  • Ateneo de Manila University
  • The cities of Valenzuela and Muntinlupa also suspended classes.
