The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and NDRRMC announces a breaking news of a Magnitude 5.1 Earthquake Hits Palauig (Zambales) on Wednesday, September 5, 2019 around 09:58:35 PM.
The location is 14.63°N, 116.30°E – 398 km S 77° W of Palauig (Zambales)and the Depth of Focus (KM) is 031 with the Origin “Tectonic.”
According to Phivolcs, “We cannot predict when or where an earthquake will happen. There is no reliable technology in the world that can confidently predict the date, time and location of large earthquakes. Please avoid sharing any messages that could cause panic and fear.”
