August 9, 2019 Visayan Maritime Academy is alarmed by news that there is a possible bomb in the area.

Upon hearing the information, the school authorities alerted the students to go home early to make up precautionary measures.

Police authorities also secured the area and K9 units find the alleged bomb.

According to one student in VMA “ Samtang kami naga clasi, gulpi lang nag bell kag nag announce nga kami ma puli na timprano tungod may bomb threat”.

As usual we are conducting regular class schedule and suddenly the bell rings and the school authorities ask the student to go home early.

As of now the situation is normalize and thanks GOD .
