Kyline is closer to boys than girls, which speculated the ‘lesbian rumors’ over her. However, she admitted that she grew up with mostly boys around her.

She is the only girl in their family and she has two brothers. Kyline is also close to her father, Butch Manga.

Even in the showbiz industry, she has more male friends. Others would tease her for having a heart of a man.

“Tomboy po ako? Boyish po ako!”

“Hindi po ako ganito,” she then looked at her feminine-styled outfit.

“There’s nothing wrong about being feminine or boyish or let boys be feminine, and girls be masculine. Kumbaga, just an expression for me.” Kyline added.

“Gusto ko talagang maging soldier. Gusto ko po talaga.”

“Kaya kapag may napapa-picture po sa akin na Army natin sa Philippines, sinasabi ko talaga na gusto kong maging kayo. Kasi nga po, all my life, puro lalaki ang… kumbaga, yung pinapanood namin na baril-barilan.”

“Before nga po nung nasa area namin, hindi po ako sumasali sa mga Barbie-barbihan ng mga babae, sumasali po ako sa mga habulan. Hindi po ako nagtsa-Chinese garter dahil pambabae po yun.

“So, yeah, boyish po ako.”

Kyline said that, until now no one has ever courted her.

“Hindi pa po. Hindi pa ako naliligawan.”

“Naligaw po ako. Ha! Ha! Ha!”

“Siguro dahil guarded po ako, kahit nung bata pa ako. Lagi ko pong kasama ang mom [Weng Alcantara] at daddy ko po.”
