Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode on March 10, 2018 features the heroic act of a soldier Capt. Rommel Sandoval portrayed by Zanjo Marudo and his wife Ani Sandoval portrayed by Kim Chiu.

Capt. Rommel’s love to his family is genuine but it does not hold him back from serving the country. Capt. Rommel is one of our own soldiers who stand his oath firmed enough to fight for the peace and order in Marawi even until the end of his life.

Every Filipino knows how hard for a soldier to serve our country. As a soldier, you need to sacrifice your personal interest and family just to show and demonstrate you love for the country and willing die for it.

Capt. Rommel is one of our heroes who give his life for the peace and order of Marawi. Capt. Rommel is one of the many soldiers died during the bloody encounter against inspired ISIS Maute brothers.
