GMA 7 network “Magpakailanman” features the life story of Norman Balbuena popularly known as ‘Boobay.’ Boobay’s father is a Philippine Army and his mother is teacher in Zambales. Boobay hide his gender as Gay.

He studied at St. Louis University at Baguio and taking up a MassCom degree. He is a member of theater group in their school. Moreover, he discovers his talent in comedy and acting. He wants to be an actor and he audition on GMA 7.

Film Director Cesar Cosme discovers Norman Balbuena and named “Boobay.”

When Boobay stardom, his mother has a kidney illness, died last 2013.

Last November 27, 2016, Boobay suffers stroke.

In August 12, 2017 episode of “Magpakailanman” casts are Donita Nose bilang Boobay, Tonton Gutierrez as Nory, Mickey Feriols as Iya, Rodjun Cruz as Kenneth, Liezel Lopez as Diana, Pepita Curtis as herself, Kendra the dog as herself.
