The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) released statement of a magnitude 3.1 earthquake jolted on Davao Occidental on Friday morning around 3:01 a.m., May 12, 2017. The location of occurrence was recorded 05.06°N, 127.47°E – 225 km S 79° E of Sarangani (Davao Occidental).
Origin is TECTONIC and 033 Depth of Focus (Km).
According to Phivolcs, No damages and aftershocks were expected from the two quakes.
