Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode on April 8, 2017 features the comeback of Mrs. Lorna Tolentino. She portrays the role of Maya – a mother imprisoned due to drug charges in 2008. Her daughter named Joy (played by Alexa Ilacad), who gets her feet inside the prison facility in Isabela because she always visit her mother.

Suddenly, Joy meets a prisoner Rustom who falling in love with each other. However, Rustom is transferred to the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Manila and Joy runs away to live in Manila in her desire to be near Rustom despite her mother’s protestations.

Six years later, Joy gives birth to her first child with Rustom. But in weeks later, Rustom show his true color, he still using illegal drugs and physical violent. Joy Decided to go back to Isabela because her mother released from prison in 2015.

Joining the cast on MMK episode on April 8, 2017 are Edgar Allan Guzman as Rustom, Alicia Alonzo as Lola Ine, Minco Fabregas as Boyet, Kyle Banzon as Mark, Gem Ramos as Mina, Gilleth Sandico as Elsa, Cessa Moncera as Young Joy, and Mario Capalad as Joey.

This MMK episode is under the direction of Dado Lumibao and written by Akeem Jordan del Rosario / Arah Jell Badayos.
