Congratulations! November 2016 (NLE) Nursing Board Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release results for November 2016 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) or popularly known as Nursing Board Exam. Aside from the list of passers, Top 10 Passers (TopNotchers), Top Performing & Top Performance of Schools will be posted here once available online.

Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga, held last November 26 & 27, 2016.

The expected date of releasing the official results is in between of December 12, 2016 and January 8, 2016 or in 10-28 working days after the last day of examination.

Some sources predicted that the official results will be posted online earlier than the PRC or before Christmas Day.

The members of the Board of Nursing was composed by Chairman Marian Grace A. Gascon: Gloria B. Arcos, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Glenda S. Arquiza, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Anonuevo, Members.

Examinees answered the following subjects below;

Saturday (November 26, 2016) – Nursing Practice 1- Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice, Nursing Practice II – Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child, Nursing Practice III – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A).

Sunday (November 27, 2016) – Nursing Practice IV – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part B), Nursing V – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C).

According to PRC, the examination will test competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These key areas are categorized as follows:

Last November 2015, PRC announce a total of 9,114 out of 18,500 successfully passed the Nurse Licensure Examination.

In June 2016, PRC release a total of 6,183 out of 14,184 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing.

According to Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.
