PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa finally stated that the ongoing reports about Abu Sayyaf men who was sighted in Cebu was true. He also stated that it’s already long time when some of these terrorist roam around our country. Not just Cebu but even Metro Manila.

He said during the press conference at the PNP headquarters with the regional directors, “Matagal na silang nakakaikot, ngayon lang nag-leak yung information na namonitor namin na sila ay umiikot,” He added, “Actually yung mga Abu Sayyaf na yan, pag lalabas yan doon walang armas at solo solo na lakad. They can reach as far as Metro Manila kung tutuusin, let’s be frank about that,”

Scary and hard yet dela Rosa assured that they continously monitoring the different ways movements of Abu Sayyaf. According to Him, “Minomonitor natin, binabantayan natin,” When asked about the leakage of this to the Public he replied, “Actually that information is still for validation. We received information last Friday that may ilang allegedly members ng ASG na dumaan ng Cebu pero as of now walang confirmation. Hindi nagtagal, basta ang sabi from Dapitan to Negros Oriental, to Cebu and then umalis din sa area,”
