Rodrigo R. Duterte on his First 50 days as the Philippine President

Manila, Philippines – August 18, 2016 marks first 50 days of President’s Rodrigo Duterte as President of the Republic of the Philippines.

To present his achievements, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) prepares a documentary titled as “#First 50 Days”.

In an interview with the President, Duterte explains he is trying his best to  fulfill his promised during the campaign period to put an end to crime and drugs in 3-6 months.  Merely  within 2 months since he started his office, Duterte said he is trying to work hard to make the Philippines a “drug-free” “graft-free” country.

Duterte also added he don’t claim any success but maybe failures here and there.

Many political analysts said Duterte’s first 50 days as President has a “strong start”, a very determined President, starting to fulfill his promises.

Other Achievements released by the PCO led by PCO Secretary Martin Andanar in the first 50days as President of the Philippines.

  • Decrease the number of crime in July
  • Increase of drug users and pushers surrendering to authorities
  • Naming suspected government officials link to drugs
  • Creating emergency and citizen’s complaints hotlines
  • Changing administration of the New Bilibid Prison
