Former Presidential Lacierda talks on violence against women

Former Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda advised Senator de Lima regarding her ongoing heat against President Rodrigo Duterte.

The issue between the President and the Senator has become deeper that it came to the point of their personal issues.  Recently, the President talk against De Lima at Camp Crame and became widespread followed by the press conference of Senator De Lima.

Up to now the fire that exists between the President and the Senator is so hard to put out.  In a report made by the Inquirer, Former Presidential Spokesperson, Lacierda, advised De Lima to keep strong and continue to do her job.  The two are said to be colleagues during the time President Pinoy was the chief executive of the Philippines.

Aside from reminding the Senator to continue doing her job, Lacierda  also expressed his concern on the respect for women in the country, as he sees the disrespect for women has greatly changed and was once expected to come.

He added that his might be the new ethics that pervades the country, that change has come and women are insulted and threatened subject to false and damaging to their reputation.
