Maalaala Mo Kaya “MMK” episode on May 21, 2016, explores the dynamics of an unconventional family as it brings to life the story of a family with two mothers and a father. Romel (Played by Raikko Matteo, Diego Loyzaga) grows up with his biological mother Mila (portrayed by Precious Lara Quigaman), his biological father Rody (Jay Manalo), and his father’s wife Bita (Andrea del Rosario).

He was teased by his friends because of his family’s non-traditional set-up but both Mila and Bita assure Rommel that he is lucky to have two mothers. Aside of being confused over the complicated relationship of his parents, Rommel accept Mila and Bita to become his both mother.

But things take a dark turn when his father’s abusive behavior leads to Bita’s decision to flee their complicated situation.

Joining the cast of MMK episode are Gerard Pizzaras, Alex Castro, Lance Lucido, and Veyda Inoval. The episode is directed by Dondon Santos and written by Benson Logronio. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
