A Filipina in Saudi Arabia has been arrested on suspicion of helping a Syrian make explosive belts for suicide attacks, according to the Interior Ministry. The Syrian was identified as Mohamed al-Barazi.
Philippine Ambassador to Riyadh Ezzedin Tago refused to comment on the arrest of the Filipina when GMA News talked to him. He said “I cannot comment because I have not received the official information other than what is in the news”.

The embassy is gathering more information about the Filipina, Tago said. The Department of Foreign Affairs is requesting access to the arrested Filipina, spokesman Charles Jose.
The Syrian is suspected of turning the house in the Saudi capital that he shared with the Filipina into a bomb factory, a ministry spokesman said. He is also accused of making another house in Riyadh as a safe house for fugitive militants. Hope that the fair justice will be given to the accused.
