Top Trending Topic online! The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) has released the official list of nominees for the 2015 FAMAS awards. The country’s most popular award-giving bodies is now on its 63rd year in recognizing Filipino talents.

FAMAS is considered as one of the most respected award-giving bodies in the Philippine cinema. It comprises veteran writers and showbiz columnists who have earned their reputation and authority in the showbiz industry.

The theme of the FAMAS Awards Night is “Throw Back Glam Day”… A Look Back at Six Glorious Decades of the Philippine Cinema.” There were six glorious decades of Philippine Cinema, “Iconic Movie Queens of Philippine Cinema” which includes Gloria Romero, Nora Aunor, Susan Roces, Maricel Soriano, Dawn Zulueta and Sarah Geronimo.

Coco Martin is set to receive a Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award as starring in the remake of FPJ’s movie titled “Ang Probinsyano”.
