iTune Philippines music chart’s top spot was conquered by the soundtrack of blockbuster movie “The Breakup Playlist” starring Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo as of July 15.
“The Breakup Playlist” beats releases from The Carpenters, Bon Jovi and Badlands.

The official movie theme song “Paano Ba Ang Magmahal” composed by Yeng Constantino and Jonathan Manalo is also in the Top 5 in the singles chart.
“The Breakup Playlist” follows the story of Trixie (Sarah Geronimo), a law student and Gino (Piolo Pascual), a musician from a rock band.

The movie marks the first big screen team-up of Geronimo and Pascual.
“The Breakup Playlist” is directed by Dan Villegas and currently on its third week in Cinemas nationwide.
