Congratulations! Gilas Cadets Men’s National Basketball Team gave the Philippines a 29^th Gold Medal by beating Indonesia 72-64 at the 28^th SEA Games at OCBC Arena in Singapore last June 15, 2015. As a very scary semi-finals win against Team Thailand, Gilas shows that they are strong and expecting that the SEA Games Basketball Finals will be their side as a momentum.

The Team Indonesia veteran point guard Mario Wuysang faced Sinag Pilipinas U23 Basketball Team for a Gold Medal Match. He did his best but Sinag Pilipinas U23 Basketball Team maintain their led in a quarter.

Team Pilipinas felt warm as the crowd supports from their fellow countrymen that mostly are working and residing in Singapore. Sinag Pilipinas players Kiefer Ravena and Ray Ray Parks tandem beat the Indonesia.

As the Philippines got the double digit leads in the second (2) quarter courtesy of Baser Amer and Gio Jalalon.
But the Indonesia didn’t quit too as they made a 2 more threes before the final buzzer sounded to the end and it’s declare that the Sinag Pilipinas won against Team Indonesia with the final scored of 72-64.

This is the 17^th time as the Philippines Men’s Basketball Team bagged the Gold Medal since the sport was introduced in SEA Games.
