Motherhood was one of the hardest and glorious role of being a woman. Giving birth is the most thing anyone can experience. But?? Could you endure the pain not just for one time but 18 times?? And includes raising 18 children! Well, this mom did it!

“Super Nanay” of Malanday, Marikina City, Marites Canieso was able to raise her 18 children. She wash the clothes of other people in order to sustain the needs of her children and her family.

She got pregnant at the age of 16 and according to her eldest child, Mylene she has 17 siblings but the two passed away already because of measles and the other one of being shot.

“Masipag po yung nanay ko eh, kaso po pagkatapos po sa trabaho niya, nagtatrabaho padin po dito.”  Mylene said emotionally.

Although they did can’t go out like the other just to celebrate Mother’s Day, they said it is already enough that they are complete on the special day.
