SALN 2014: Congressman Manny Pacquiao Claimed The Top Spot As The Richest Congressman- See His Total Assets Here

On the recent SALN (Statement of Assets & Liabilities) 2014 as per declaration by different public servant here in the Philippines specifically on the House of the Representatives, at the number one spot or dubbed as  the richest congressman was Rep. Manny Pacquiao, he is just not only a millionaire but a billionaire when it comes to total earnings of P1. 688 billion.

At the second place was the house speaker Rep. Feliciano Belmonte with P 921.559 million followed by Rep. Imelda Marcos with P 917.8 million at the fourth spot is Rep. Alfredo Benitez with P 845.928 million.

This only proves that these people are not just ordinary public servants but also considered a prominent person in the country.

According to the law, all public servants must submit their SALN so that they will be monitored and secured from the issues of graft and corruption. According to the COA or Commission On Audit this will serve as a basis for their investigation if a certain government official is link to plunder cases.
