The National Research Council or more popularly known as CSIC officially released the world ranking of universities which includes the top 100 colleges and universities in the Philippines for 2015.
The global ranking arm of CSIC, Webometrics which is now on their 12th year of publication which was announced again the De La Salle University (DLSU) –Manila rank no.1 institution in the country.
According to the source, “the ranking is based on web presence and impact of various academic institutions was evaluated through a composite indicator comprised of university online visibility in terms of external in links and other activities.
De La Salle University (DLSU) –Manila is followed University of the Philippines -Diliman, UP – Los Baños, UP-Manila, and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU).
National Taiwan University is still no. 1 place among Asian Universities while the University of the Philippines ranked 393th up from 479th in 2014.
In this year’s rank no. 1 on global ranking, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University in the United States (US) is still on the top.
