Adam Levine & Cristina Aguilera Turn Their Chairs for the Filipino-American “The Voice US 2015” Blind Auditions

The most highly anticipated show “The Voice” season 8 US version, a 17 year-old Filipino-American has made it to the blind auditions and recently, he was on the Team of Coach Adam Levine. Nathan Hermida sang Miguel’s “Sure Thing” that would probably the Maroon 5 vocalist Adam Levine turned his chair for only 10 seconds.

Even Cristina Aguilera turned her chair within 36 seconds and amazed the performance of Hermida. Also the audience praises the performance of Nathan Hermida and got a standing ovation. “It’s really an honor just be in front of the four of you. But I pick Adam”, said by Hermida.

The three (3) minutes video clip of Hermida got more than 200, 000 views up to present in the official YouTube account of The Voice. The video was published on March 9, 2015 and garnered hundreds of comments.

“He was the first-generation Filipino-American who grew up singing during his family’s karaoke nights”, according to the official website of “The Voice”. They also added; “Hermida used to perform in his school choir and was part of an a cappella group but his parents “have their hearts set on him going to school for biology.”
