The 13th Gawad Tanglaw Awards 2015 will be held around 4 pm at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in Las Piñas.
Among the awards conferred by the Entertainment Editor of News that Dindo M. Balares as “Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Panunulat”, the equivalent of the lifetime achievement award.
Included in this category are awarded Atty. Romulo Macalintal DZMM, the “Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Radyo”; Tirso Cruz III Award for Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Television; and Chito Rono for Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Pelikula.
Dindo Balares is homegrown writer from Liwayway, News, and Manila Bulletin. In 1989, as a fresh graduate of the Ateneo de Naga Literature began her as a staff writer of the Liwayway, and became entertainment editor in the Music and Friends magazine, and moved to the News.
He had written more than 20 novels in various publications. In 2013 released his latest book, The No Similarly, focusing on the origin and identity of the Filipinos.
The Gawad Tanglaw Awards 2015 consists of professors who were with doctorate and master’s degrees from various schools in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.
