Vhong Navarro, Cedric Lee Camps Says “No” For Settlement

Vhong Navarro and Cedric Lee camps urges for no settlement wherein the two sides failed to reach an agreement regarding to the grave coercion case filed by the comedian to the three accused namely Cedric Lee, Simeon Raz and Deniece Cornejo regarding the mauling incident to the actor last January 22.

deniece cornejo emerges from the taguig RTC after the hearingThe legal counsels of Lee and Navarro again face each other at the Taguig City Hall aiming for Judicial Dispute Resolution or JDR, the result is considered to be failure because both sides really urges to say “No” for settlement, so the court will continue the hearing regarding the grave coercion case.

According to Vhong legal counsel Atty. Mallonga, they will still continue to fight and pursue the charges against Lee, Raz and Cornejo wherein they were also facing serious illegal detention case which is supposed to be a non bailable offense but recently the three accused where allowed to post bail to regain temporary freedom.

Meanwhile Judge Paz Esperanza Cortes is formally inhibited because Vhong’s camp filed a petition questioning the judge decision for for allowing the accused to post bail last September 15.

On the other hand Cedric Lee is not considering to leave the country because his passport was expired and will face the upcoming hearings to prove his not guilty plea towards the case against him.
