“Ikaw Lamang” actress Kim Chiu personally handpicked by Walt Disney Company to portray the Iconic Princess “Mulan”.

According to Walt Disney they confirmed that Kim will be the part of their South East Asia Project and promised to share additional details about the plan these coming months.

“We confirm that Kim Chiu is part of an upcoming Disney project in Southeast Asia. We will share more details on this in the coming months.” Walt Disney Company quoted.

Before the said confirmation on Kim Chiu’s involvement on the project, there were rumours that she will be portraying as “Mulan” because of photos of her gearing up like the Iconic Disney Princess.

Kim Chiu also confirms the news that she will be a part of the project which wears a pink hanfu and a Chinese army gear she uses as a disguise.

She added that since childhood it was her dream to be a Disney Princess, when the offer was given to her she was so happy and asked “Totoo ba gagawin nyo akong “Mulan”

Kim added “Sobra akong saya and overwhelmed ‘yung puso ko dahil isa ako sa pinili nilang gumanap ng Mulan and excited ako maipakita ko ‘to sa lahat for next year.”

As of now the details of the calendar project is yet to be announced especially its releases date to the public.
