Robin Padilla formally chooses his former on screen loveteam Vina Morales to portray as “Gregoria”, in his upcoming movie entitled “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo”. The said movie will be an official entry for the MMFF or “Metro Manila Film Festival”.

In an interview with Abs-Cbn, the premiere actor revealed that Vina will portray the wife of Bonifacio namely Gregoria De Jesus, wherein she contributes a lot for the welfare of her husband.

According to the actor the staffs have already formulated a list of female artist to portray the role, but the problem is there is a certain conflict in their schedule and then he was given a chance to choose he quickly suggest the female singer to be his spouse in the movie.

He also added that the reason why he personally picked Vina because given that they have also worked before in the previous years and also proven their chemistry, the actor point out that in order to be effective they must have a connection with each other.

“Kasi importante yung role ni Gregoria kasi kailangan meron talagang bakas ng nakalipas. Kasi kapag ginawa namin ni direk Enzo yung nga eksena ni Gregoria at Andres na walang kinalaman sa buhay ko, ang pangit tignan. Kasi nagpapa-cute si Andres,” Padilla noted.

Also the actor has a great confidence that the singer actress is only the one fitted to portray the role as Gregoria, knowing that she is the only one who gives meaning to the life of Andres Bonifacio.

He added further that together with Direk Enzo they will support Vina to portray the role effectively and believe that she is the only one suited for it.

Meanwhile the actress was happy about the support and encouragement of his former boyfriend.

“Thankful kami kasi yung team-up namin, hindi nawawala yung chemistry namin, yung kilig. Sa off-screen, of course kinikilig pa din sila.
