The 68th Tony Awards announced the biggest winner “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” on Sunday night. The murderous music “Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” won four Tony Award including, Best Direction, Best Costume, Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical.

The winner of Best Revival of play goes to Denzel Washington’s “ A Raisin in the Sun” while Jhett Tolentino in Joanjhett Productions won 2 Tony Awards as one of the co-producers of the two shows “ Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” and “ A Raisin in the Sun” on Sunday night.

He is the third Filipino receive the 68th Tony Awards while Lea Salonga’s Best Lead Actress in Musical Award and Robert Bobby Lopez’s Best Original Score and Best Book.

“It’s a home run, it’s fantastic. I’m so appreciative of all the love of the community and all the supporters, really. Thank you, thank you, and bringing pride to the Pinoys,” Jhett said to the reporter.

He is the one of the producers in another 2014 nominated play “The Velocity of Autumn” and also the hit musical “Here Lies Love”. Jhett Tolentino appreciated and thanked to all pinoys who supported his effort as one of the top producer and to be well-known internationally.
