According to the Twitter counter, the 29-year-old Katy Perry whose true name is Katheryn Elizabeth “Katy” Hudson caught up hundreds of thousands of followers roaring her way to 50,025,667 Twitter followers.

Katy Perry is yet to response regarding her achievement being the most followed celebrity in the number 1 micro-blogging sites, Twitter.
