Claudine Barretto and her camp have been disappointed with regards to the decision of the court in pursuing the hearing against ex-husband Raymart Santiago on the Permanent Protection Order (PPO) case on December 19.

Claudine, through her lawyer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio had informed already the Makati Regional Trial Court that nobody from their camp can attend the hearing due to the alleged unavoidable circumstances.

According to their statement, Atty. Topacio Claudine’s lead counsel of the case rushed to the hospital at Asian Hospital [June 18] for suffering diarrhea causing him to vomit and severe pain of his stomach.

In the hospital, Atty. Topacio is rehydrated and given a pain killer and prescribed medication for amoebiases, loose bowel movement and abdominal pain.

And the second chair of the case. Atty. Lomangaya was at Sandigangbayan to attend the hearing for the case of First gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo in connection to the “chopper case”, so for these reasons they could not able to attend for Claudine’s hearing on December 19, 2013.

Wondered, in spite of the fact that Claudine claimed that they have all the legal reasons to postpone the hearing to be schedule on Monday, December 23, but the judge still pursue the hearing without considering their side.

During the hearing, Raymart Santiago came together with Claudine’s siblings JJ Barretto and Gretchen Barretto who have testified in the court against Claudine.

Outside the court, the star witness Gretchen told the media about the alleged threat of their father Michael Barretto, which is to kill them if they will testify in the court against their sister Claudine.
