Kapamilya actor and “It’s Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro reportedly tied up and attacked by unidentified group of men on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 inside a condominium unit in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

The report was confirmed by his manager, film director Chito Rono.

Vhong Navarro Attacked PhotoAccording to the official statement of Vhong Navarro’s manager Chito Rono to the ABS-CBN News on Friday, the comedian actor, co-host Vhong Navarro was invited by a female friend (read the update about her identity) to visit her to her condominium unit.

When the comedian Vhong Navarro arrived in the premises of the condominium of the female friend, the alleged group of men immediately attacked the actor and blindfolded him and beat him to injure.

Chito Rono added that Vhong Navarro was threatened and victimize for extortions.

The camp of “It’s Showtime” comedian co-host had to find ways to learn the reason behind the assault to the 37-year-old actor at Fort Bonifacio condominium unit.

The management of the noontime show “Its Showtime” notified the fans of the actor that he is temporarily not be seen on the show and to some other television project as he is now recovering from his injuries.
