Update of COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines

As of now, there are more than 7,000 cases of COVID-19 here in the Philippines. A total of 7,192 people have been infected with the disease and an additional of 211 cases.

The government has extended the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila and other “high risk” areas, up until May 15 to slowdown the contagion.

The total number of COVID-19 survivors is around 762 with the recovery of 40 more persons. DOH or Department of Health recorded 15 additional deaths, total deaths in the country raised to 477.
