Several Local Government Units (LGUs) announces class and works suspensions as preventive measures to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
As of March 11, 2020, the Department of Health announced that there were 33 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines.
As of March 11, 2020 morning, more than 118,661 people have been infected and over 4,269 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 65,105 recovered from the epidemic disease.
