The Agoncillo local government is now closely monitoring the aftermath of Taal Volcano “moderate steaming” reaching 200 to 300 meters high on Wednesday night. According to Mayor Daniel Reyes, Agoncillo’s Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office has been alerted pending an update from the Phivolcs.

Although it is reported that some residents of Barangay Bilibinwang have been evacuated, the village head has not yet reported to the Barangay Captain.

Nonetheless, local government rescue vehicles are now standby in the area that Agoncillo residents need to evacuate within the 7-kilometer radius danger zone.
