The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) stated that a Magnitude 4.6 Earthquake Hits Baculin (Davao Oriental) on Thursday, August 29, 2019 around 06:20:32 PM.
The location is 07.27°N, 127.18°E – 069 km S 73° E of Baculin (Davao Oriental) and the Depth of Focus (KM) is 006 with the Origin “Tectonic.”
According to Phivolcs, “We cannot predict when or where an earthquake will happen. There is no reliable technology in the world that can confidently predict the date, time and location of large earthquakes. Please avoid sharing any messages that could cause panic and fear.”
