The Professional Regulation Commission announced on Friday, February 5 that 866 out of 1,556 passed the Architect Licensure Examination. Professional Regulatory Board of Architect administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Cebu and Legazpi, held last January 29 & 31, 2016. The Board of Architecture headed by it’s Chairman, Arch. Rolando L. Cordero and board member, Arch. Fidel Jose R. Siapno.
The passers who garnered the 10 highest places in the January 2016 Architect Licensure Examination are the following:

Examinees answered the following subjects; History and Theory of Architecture; Principles of Planning; Architecture Practice (30%), Utilities Systems/Structural Conceptualization/Building Materials and Construction (30%), on the last day of the test January 31, 2016; Architectural Design and Site Planning (40%).
Starting February 14, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.phand follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
- 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The results were released in 5 working days after the last day of examination.
