Truly, the youth-oriented television series Tabing Ilog has earned a big success from late ‘90s to this early 2000s, and now, according to  Kaye Abad  she is welcoming and is very open to have a reunion project with her former co-stars in the said teleserye. “Yes, super gusto namin ‘yan even before pa marami akong naririnig na mga fans ng Tabing Ilog before na sana mag-reunion. Yes we were really hoping for that sana pero saschedule naming lahat. Parang mahirap na mapagsama-sama kaming lahat pero malay natin sabi ko nga kahit MMK lang na magkakasama kaming lahat bakit hindi?” she said in an interview earlier.

And as to Kaye if ever that this teleserye would make up a remake she has the gut and bet who can play he role “Magagaling na rin ‘yung ma bata ngayon eh, pero siguro bilang Eds I would say Kathryn Bernardo kasi parang ako eh very Filipina, very simple so siguro as Eds si Kathryn.” On asking who could play the role of John Lloyd as Rovic, Kaye said, “Eh nandiyan na si Kathryn, si Daniel (Padilla) na lang.”

After the finale of her latest soap Two Wives, She is still wishing and hoping to have a more challenging role in her next project. “Sa akin kasi every role naman feeling ko kung ano man ang ibigay sa akin, kung mapo-portray ko siya ng maayos, puwedeng matabunan at matatabunan kung ano man ‘yung past na nagawa ko. At ‘yun din naman ‘yung hope na sana every role na gampanan ko is tumatak sa tao kumbaga iba naman kung iba ‘yung ginawa ko from this one.”

She stated that she also wants to play the role of a deaf character. “Dream role lagi kong sinasabi na hindi naman siya drama pero gusto ko siyang ma-try na pipi ako kasi for me mahirap ‘yun eh kasi you have to express what you really want to say, kung ano ‘yung nararamdaman mo, kailangan mo siyang ipakita sa mata, sa facial reaction so I take that as challenging talaga,” Kaye said.
