Female news anchor Korina Sanchez denies rumors that she was fired from the public service news oriented program “TV Patrol” on ABS-CBN.
She noted she was just on leave and already filed her leave of absence last November 2014, she will be out of the show from January to March 2015, wherein she noted her reasons saying is her studies that really matters the most for her as of now. She added if she does not pursue this now it will maybe too late for her to accomplish her Master’s Degree on Journalism.
She noted that she is studying online and she find it more difficult to pursue both in news anchor and her studies, which is now she already set her mind to prioritize her degree.
“Officially, it’s really because of school. I’m back in school, ‘di ba… “E, komo parehong online, akala ko madali. Sukdulan pala ng hirap” she quoted.
Korina shared that in London her load was so light and find it easier for her, but actually in Ateneo this is where her real challenge starts on.
Sanchez also noted that she intends to drop out subjects becomes of time constraints wherein she is studying while doing TV Patrol, which her online professor find it too hard to adjust on her schedule.
But she stated she will be on TV patrol after she finish her course.
