Sandara Park’s exclusive contract with Abyss Company, her talent agency, has already ended. This revelation was made in response to Park Bom, a fellow 2NE1 member, alleging drug use.
Bom posted a now-deleted handwritten statement on Instagram on March 3, discussing the 2014 drug scandal that resulted from her alleged 2010 importation of the psychiatric drug Adderall into South Korea. When it was discovered that the drug had been given for medical purposes, prosecutors suspended her prosecution. Nevertheless, the problem reappeared years later and persisted in affecting how the general public saw Bom.

Bom said in her handwritten message that she had “something sensitive and frightening” to disclose that is still negatively affecting her mental health.
Bom reiterated that she had been prescribed Adderall to address her Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). She then asserted that Sandara had used drugs in the past and claimed that she was used as a stand-in to deflect attention from that problem.
Bom did not specify who she said was responsible for the incident. Additionally, Sandara has not yet issued a statement addressing to the claims.
Sandara’s talent agency, Abyss Company, revealed that her contract with the company had already expired once Sandara’s name was connected to the accusations. In reference to Sandara’s contract, OSEN stated that “the exclusive contract has now expired,” as reported by The Chosun Daily. The business neither verified nor refuted Bom’s claims and did not offer any further information.
Additionally, while the profiles of other artists are still accessible on the official Abyss Company website, Sandara’s profile is no longer available. Her images and videos are still accessible on the agency’s Instagram page, though.
In the meantime, Sandara’s personal social media profiles are still live, and while some internet users are urging her to clarify the matter, many others are offering support in the comments section amid the controversy.
After YG Entertainment announced in May 2021 that Sandara would be leaving them after 17 years, Sandara signed with Abyss Company in September of that same year.
