Alessandra De Rossi is challenged to portray as Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao the triumphant mother of the 8 Division World Champion Manny Pacquiao in the upcoming film entitled “Kid Kulafu”.

The movie is focus on the struggles of Manny wherein he set foot to fulfill his boxing dream as a teenager, this shows how the Filipino boxing icon defy the odds to become the most popular boxing in the history.

De Rossi noted in her interview with DZMM the said film is very interesting for her to portray on the first place wherein Mommy D. is an icon and everyone knows how she act, maybe during her portrayal she could receive some reaction with regards to the way how she brings the character into the movie.

“Mahirap gumanap ng isang character na alam halos lahat ng tao. Siyempre pwede nilang sabihin ‘o mali yan, o tama yan.’’

“Kid Kulafu” will be available on theaters this Wednesday wherein the movie will show the significance of Mommy D. on his sons journey to become the most exciting boxer of all time.

She shared that despite of Mommy D. humorous nature; still she maintained her strict discipline to her children. De Rossi also quoted that there is a time that Mommy D. pushes Pacquiao to enter a seminary to be a priest.
