Rhian Ramos, an actress, finally spoke up about the assault claims she has been involved in this year. She talked about her feelings over the previous few weeks and insisted that the truth will set them all free in a quick chat with entertainment reporter Aubrey Carampel.

Last month, Rhian, Michelle Dee, and Samantha Panlilio were charged with unlawfully detaining her former driver.

Rhian said, “Well honestly, siyempre sino ba naman ang matutuwa. I can say yes it’s in a way stressful pero I’m also quite confident na the truth will set us free”

The Kapuso actress insisted that she is unable to reveal any more information for legal reasons, but she is optimistic that the truth will eventually surface.

She ended, “I just can’t give so much details about everything because we might be waiting for a possible case or whatever. So, I can’t give too many details but in the end, the truth will set us free.”

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) received a complaint from Rhian’s former driver in January of last year, alleging that she, Michelle, and Samantha had committed significant illegal detention, torture, and physical assault inside a Makati City condominium.

Since then, Michelle has addressed the matter and refuted any accusations made against her. The beauty queen was not in Makati City when the claimed unlawful detention occurred, according to a member of her legal team.

Attorney Maggie Abraham-Garduque shared, “We find this physically impossible and also incredible kasi based on the allegation of the driver, nangyari raw yung alleged mauling and illegal detention, January 17 to 19. However, records would show na si Michelle Dee was in Iloilo ng buong araw ng January 17, and she was able to go back to Manila only on January 18”

On social media, Rhian’s mother also defended her daughter and questioned the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) about their backing of the driver who was accused of robbing her.

“It has helped fuel this social media frenzy, leaving the ones stolen from and betrayed to be victimized even more by depraved imaginations with stories morphing like cancer,” Rhian’s mom previously stated.
