Alongside boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, mixed martial arts champion Mark Striegl, CrossFit athlete Lara Liwanag, strongman Ray Jefferson Querubin, national rugby player Justin Coveney, and CrossFit athlete Justin Hernandez, Robyn represented Team Philippines on the South Korean reality competition series Physical: Asia.

Robyn made history as the first Filipina to win gold in the women’s 400-meter hurdles in the 2023 Asian Athletics Championships before she joined the series. At the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, which took place in Thailand last year, she also won a bronze medal in the women’s 4×400-meter relay and a silver medal in the women’s 400-meter hurdles.

In the meanwhile, after dating for a number of years, Robyn and Alejandro got married in November 2024.

Messages of congratulations poured in from supporters and fellow competitors, many applauding Brown for continuing to promote body positivity, health, and self-care.

Several fitness brands and training partners Brown has worked with also shared congratulatory messages, calling her pregnancy “a beautiful new journey.”

While Brown has yet to announce how her pregnancy will affect her upcoming projects, she hinted that she plans to continue engaging with her community, potentially sharing fitness, wellness, and lifestyle content focused on safe training and mental health during pregnancy.

“I may be stepping away from competition for now,” she said, “but I’m not stepping away from movement, growth, or inspiration.”
